ReadWatch Launches Project To Help Hearing Impaired People Understand What's Being Said In Youtube Videos
The project relies on specially developed software algorithms based on neural networks to decrypt up to 7000 subtitles per day

ReadWatch is delighted to announce that people with hearing impairment, or anyone who would rather watch a YouTube video with the volume off, can still figure out what’s being said with its amazing subtitle project.

Although initially started as a website for hard-of-hearing people who require subtitles, readwatch.org soon realized that some ordinary people also preferred reading subtitles as opposed to consuming information with their ears. Aligning itself with the discovery, ReadWatch has successfully positioned itself as a reliable alternative for people who love to read more than they love to watch videos.

The ReadWatch project was intuitively designed by an expert team of experienced computer programmers. The project relies on complex, specially developed software algorithms, based neural networks, which ReadWatch claims allows users to automatically decrypt up to 7000 videos per day.

According to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), one in eight Americans aged 12 years or older has hearing loss in both ears based on standard hearing examinations. And men are twice as likely as women to have hearing loss among adults aged 20 – 69.

Regarding its mission, ReadWatch says it is committed to giving people the opportunity to read subtitles for all iconic videos on the web.

“We think true advancement in technology should be measured in how it makes life easier for people across all demographics. For us, helping people with hearing impairment enjoy fun and amazing videos on YouTube is our way of pushing for inclusion and the creation of a society that accommodates and caters for the needs of everyone.”

The company also features fun informative articles on its website readwatch.org and maintains social media handles across multiple platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Twitter, and YouTube.
