The couple’s recent travel to Kenya and Uganda showed that both countries are prepared to welcome travelers. Still, travel restrictions and pandemic scares have halted the number of tourists coming in. According to Michael Mucci and Kati Weiss, despite strictly following COVID-19 safety protocols to ensure safety, tourists and visitors have yet to return to Africa.
